I came to this work as a painter. High-end surfaces are my trade, and decades of renovating Auckland homes taught me everything else: how projects really run, what clients worry about, and how many small details slip through when nobody owns them.
That is the gap I stand in. I work between the client and the trades, hands on, on site, bringing in the right professionals for each part of the work and making sure the details that would otherwise go unnoticed get covered.
Odyssey exists because clients have trusted me and our team with their homes, year after year. Everything those years taught us has gone into the systems we have built to serve you. The Archive is the first of them: a way for any home to keep its memory, whoever did the work.
For those who want a closer working relationship with Odyssey, through our Network of trades or through stewardship, we have built new ways of working that we could not have offered before. Looked after this way, a home changes, and so does living in it. The Archive is by invitation, for any homeowner in New Zealand. Private Stewardship takes one home a year, led by me personally, and if you write to us about Private or Commercial Stewardship, I am the one who reads it.
Thanks,
